Munich-Freiham: Bronze Age house ground plans

In the summer and autumn of 2014, work began in the large new development area of Munich-Freiham to first remove the topsoil from the areas for the access roads and supply roads and to carry out an archaeological investigation, as many ground monuments were already known from the areas. Among the new discoveries were some well-preserved Bronze Age house foundations in the south-eastern part of the area.

In the photos taken at the end of November 2014, the 3 ground plans can be seen. These are two smaller buildings and a longhouse with a length of approx. 40m.
